Our Founders

Chef Arvind Prasad

Co-founder, Director of Academics, Chief of Product R&D

Arvind Prasad is an internationally-acclaimed Chef, who is not only the Director of Academics but also the Head Chef at Whitecaps International School of Pastry. He provides consultation on many projects and activities including kitchen set up, menu development, recipe development, R&D in baked products, and workshops.
Chef Arvind has worked with prestigious International brands such as Park Hyatt Dubai, Grand Hyatt Dubai and TC Gardenia, and has bagged numerous awards – Young Chef of the Year, Best Chocolate Showpiece – Indian Chocolate Master, Chocolate Star Competition, Italy – to name a few.
Besides this, Chef Arvind also consults with leading hotel chains, the most recent being the dessert menu conceptualisation for ITC’s chocolate boutique, Fabelle. In the past, he has undertaken consulting chef roles for Fonce, Epicure and has conducted workshops for Nestle, and for many businesses across India.

Vedkiran KR

Co-founder, Director of Marketing, Business Diversification Lead

An entrepreneur, Vedkiran envisioned the establishment of an International Pastry School in India with a mission to impart the same level of skills and knowledge in culinary as is found in some of the best International Culinary Schools, and to establish an umbrella brand that offers world-class products across varied categories to the Indian palette.
Ever since its inception in 2016, Vedkiran has been serving as the Director of Marketing, overseeing all marketing activities undertaken at Whitecaps such as branding, PR, offline marketing, and sales. In addition to this, he has been handling business development and expansion at Whitecaps, pushing the growth with over 100% YoY.
His belief- “One has to only dream and then start to work towards that dream. Don’t stop for what the world believes unless, it is what you believe too.”
