Gold and Bronze for India’s Rising Pastry Stars!

We’re thrilled to announce that Whitecaps has made its mark on the national stage.
At the prestigious International Hospitality Expo 2025, our young chefs competed in the 3-Tier Wedding Cake Competition and delivered a performance that left judges and audiences in awe.
Chef Hitesh claimed the Gold Medal, whilst Chef Jeeva secured the Bronze, marking a historic double victory for our school.
This achievement isn’t just about medals, it’s about showcasing the next generation of Indian pastry excellence on one of the industry’s most respected platforms.
Edible Art Rooted in Culture
What set our chefs apart was their ability to transform tradition into innovation.
Mahaphala Midori – Chef Hitesh (Gold Medal)
A stunning fusion of East meets South, Japanese matcha mingles with velvety white chocolate and the vibrant sweetness of Indian mango. This three-tier masterpiece wasn’t just a cake; it was a journey across continents, cultures, and flavours.
Mana Melam – Chef Jeeva (Bronze Medal)

Inspired by the grandeur of Sangam-era weddings, this elegant creation celebrated Tamil heritage through taste. Moringa and lemon came together in perfect harmony, offering a refreshing yet deeply rooted composition that honoured tradition with every layer.
A Testament to Craft and Creativity
These aren’t just wins for Whitecaps, they’re a powerful reminder of what happens when young talent is given the space to dream, create, and push boundaries.
We couldn’t be prouder of Chef Hitesh and Chef Jeeva, and we’re excited to see where their craft takes them next.
Congratulations to our champions! This is just the beginning!
